Eligibility Criteria for Meghalaya PSC Statistical Assistants, Journalist & Other Jobs:

Educational/Technical Qualification & Experience

• Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Officer: B.V.Sc Degree in Veterinary Science.
• Assistant Teacher (English and Political Science): Graduate with Honours in English with Political Science as one of the subject at Degree Level and having B.ED.
• Assistant Teacher (Garo and History): Graduate with Garo and History as subjects at Degree Level and having B.ED.
• Statistical Assistant: Graduate with Arts, Science, Commerce with Mathematics, Statistics or Economics, as one of the subject in Degree Course.
• Research Assistant: Graduate with Arts, Science, Commerce with Mathematics, Statistics or Economics, as one of the subject in Degree Course.
• Journalist: Graduate in Arts/Science or Commerce and should have good command over English/Khasi/Garo and should be able to translate any matter from English to Khasi/Garo vice versa.

Age Limit: Between 18 to 27 years for all posts (Age Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Women, as per Govt. Rules)

Selection Procedure for Meghalaya PSC Statistical Assistants, Journalist & Other Jobs:

Eligible candidates will be selected through any of the following processes.

• Typing Speed, English Composition and Stenography Test, in recruitment to post of Typist and Stenographer (All Grades) as the case may be.
• Screening Test followed by Personal Interview.
• Written examination followed by Personal Interview.
• Preliminary Screening Test (ii) Main Examination (iii) Personal Interview.
• Personal Interview only.
