Educational Qualification:
1. Jr. QC Inspector (NDT-Mechanical): SSC with full time three years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and have ISNT/ASNT Level II certification in Radiography interpretation, Ultrasonic Testing, Magnetic particle testing and Dye penetrate testing.
Experience: At least two years experience in related field after Level-2 certification.
- Sr. Medical Assistant (Male): Diploma/ Degree in Nursing of three years after completing class-12th.
Experience: At least two years experience in related field.
- Driver-Vehicle: SSC or equivalent examination and valid Driving License.
Heavy duty motor vehicle driving licence and driving experience in Mumbai City is preferable.
Experience: At least four’s years experience in related field.
- Jr. Draughtsman (Mech.): SSC or equivalent with National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) Examination in the Trade of ‘Draughtsman’ in Mechanical Stream.
- Jr. Planner Estimator (Mech.): SSC / HSC with full time three years Diploma with 55% marks or full time Degree with pass class in Mechanical (Mechanical/ Mechanical & Industrial Engg./Mechanical & Production Engg./ Production Engg.) or Marine Engineering.
- Jr. Planner Estimator (Elct/ Electr.): SSC / HSC with full time three years Diploma with 55% marks or full time Degree with pass class in Electrical ( Electrical / Power Engineering / Electrical & Electronics/Electrical & Instrumentation) / Electronics (Electronics / Electronics & Communication /Allied Electronics & Instrumentation /Electronics & Telecommunication) or Marine Engineering.
- Jr. QC Inspector (Mechanical): SSC with full time three years Diploma with 55% marks in Mechanical (Mechanical/Mechanical & Industrial Engg./Mechanical & Production Engg./Production Engg) or Marine Engineering.

11. Pipe Fitter: SSC or equivalent with National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) Examination passed in the trade of Pipe Fitter / Fitter/Plumber.
- Electrician: SSC or equivalent with National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) Examination passed in the trade of Electrician.
- Electric Crane Operator: SSC or equivalent with National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) Examination passed in the trade of Electrician.
- Electronic Mechanic: SSC or equivalent with National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) Examination passed in the trade of Electronic Mechanic / Mechanic Radio & Radar Aircraft.
- Painter: Passed VIII with National Apprenticeship Certificate Examination (NAC) passed in the trade of Painter.
- Carpenter: Passed VIII with National Apprenticeship Certificate Examination (NAC) passed in the trade of Carpenter.
- Machinist: SSC or equivalent with National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) Examination passed in the trade of Machinist.
- Brass Finisher: SSC or equivalent with National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) Examination passed in the trade of Fitter or Machinist.
- Compressor Attendant: SSC or equivalent with National Apprenticeship Certificate Examination passed in the trade of Millwright Mechanic / Mechanic Machine Tool Maintenance.
- Millwright Mechanic: SSC or equivalent with National Apprenticeship Certificate Examination passed in the trade of “Millwright Mechanic / Mechanic Machine Tool Maintenance.
- Composite Welder: Passed VIII with National Apprenticeship Certificate Examination (NAC) passed in the trade of Welder / Welder (Gas & Electric).
- Rigger: Passed VIII with National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) Examination passed in the trade of Rigger/Fitter.
- Security Sepoy (Ex-servicemen): SSC or equivalent examination Or passed Indian Army class – I examination or equivalent examination in the Navy or Air Force and has put in at least 15 years of service in the Armed Forces of the Union and is otherwise considered fit to hold the post in view of his experience and other qualifications.
Candidates conversant with Security Duties and holding valid commercial driving licence will be preferred.
- Fire Fighter: SSC or equivalent with Diploma / Certificate in Fire Fighting of minimum six months duration.
Candidates must possess a valid Heavy Duty Vehicle Licence.
- Chipper Grinder: Chipper Grinder trade is not a designated trade under Apprenticeship Act. Candidates who have passed SSC and NAC in any trade and have worked in Shipbuilding industry as Chipper Grinder may apply.
Age Limit (For all above Trades): Minimum-18 years and maximum-33 years as on 01/04/2016. Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test and Interview.
