1. ASSISTANT AGRICULTURAL OFFICER

No. of Vacancies: 333 Nos.

Educational Qualification:
i) Must have passed Higher Secondary (Plus Two) Examination.

ii) Must possess two years Diploma in Agriculture from the Institutions recognized by the Government of Tamil Nadu or affiliated with the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University; or Gandhigram Rural Institute, Dindigul District; or any other institutions under the control of the Commissioner of Agriculture.

Age Limit: 18 yrs – 30 yrs as on 01.07.2017

Pay Scale: Rs.5,200 – Rs.20,200/- and Grade pay Rs.2800/-

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.

Candidates’ Selection: Selection will be made in two successive stages i.e., Written Examination and Oral Test in the form of an interview.

Final selection will be made on the basis of total marks obtained by the candidates at the Written Examination and Oral Test taken together.

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.150/- as Examination Fee. Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking OR can be paid through Bank by means of fee payment Challan. NO EXAMINATION FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF SC, SC(A), ST, MBC/DC, BC, BCM, DESTITUTE WIDOWS, DIFFERENTLY ABLED PERSONS, EX-SERVICEMEN CANDIDATES.

Applicants have to register their basic particulars through One -Time Registration which is mandatory on payment of Rs.150/- towards registration fee and then should apply online for this recruitment.

Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen.
