TECHNICIAN APPRENTICE

No. of Vacancies: 60 Nos.

Discipline wise vacancies:

1. Mechanical: 25 posts (UR-14, SC-05, ST-01, OBC-05)

2. Electrical: 20 posts (UR-12, SC-04, ST-01, OBC-03)

3. Instrumentation / Electronics: 15 posts (UR-08, SC-03, ST-01, OBC-03)

Educational Qualification: Three years Full Time Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering / Electronics & Instrumentation.

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 01.01.2017.

Stipend Pay: Rs.3542/- per month.

The applicants should NOT have completed three years after passing of the qualifying examination as on 01.01.2017 i.e, candidates having passed the Diploma in Engineering in the year 2014, 2015, 2016 are only eligible to apply.

Only candidates having enrolled themselves under the National Apprentice Training Scheme (NATS) portal (www.mhrdnats.gov.in) shall be eligible to apply.

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Personal Interview based on percentage of marks achieved in Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering / Electronics & Instrumentation.

SC/ST/OBC category candidates from states other than West Bengal shall be treated as General category candidates.
