The Services to which recruitment is to be made on the results of the above examination is as follows-

1. INDIAN ECONOMIC SERVICE

No. of Vacancies: 15 Nos.

Educational Qualification: Post-Graduate Degree in Economics/Applied Economics/Business Economics/Econometrics.

Age Limit: Minimum-21 years and maximum-30 years as on 01/08/2017

2. INDIAN STATISTICAL SERVICE

No. of Vacancies: 29 Nos.

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree with Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/Applied Statistics as one of the subject or a Master’s degree in Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/Applied Statistics

Age Limit: Minimum-21 years and maximum-30 years as on 01/08/2017

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Examination and Interview/Personality Test. Examination will be held at the following centres — Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Allahabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Chennai, Chandigarh, Cuttak, Delhi, Dispur, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Patna, Shimla, Shillong, Thiruvananthapuram, Kolkata, Lucknow and Jammu

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.200/- as Application Fee. Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking OR can be paid through Bank by means of fee payment Challan.
